Vauxhall Corsa starting problems

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: 1.2 Sxi
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi. Hopefully someone will provide some pointers. My wifes Corsa is not starting as easy as it should. Sometimes first turn, other times it takes several. Does not seem to matter if the engine is cold (-3 deg C the other day, started first turn), or hot drove it 20 miles, stopped for petrol, took several turns to restart.
I have had the battery & alternator tested, both Ok and I have changed the Crank Position Sensor, no difference.
Any ideas/suggestions???
Cheers, Ali

It might be worth giving it a FULL service (plugs, filters etc) and included the fuel filter. Then see if its any better. Another thought may be a fault with the 02/lamba sensor.

You would benefit having a code read done this would tell you if any faults are present also the live data can be read to see whats going on

I had same problem a few years back on a vauxhall i changed the alternator battery plugs and so on
it turned out to be a bad earth from the car body to the battery
just a thought ... try taking it off and cleaning up the terminal and part that is bolted to the car :) hope this helps
