Vauxhall Corsa left side dipped light does not work even after changing the bulb

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Model Year: 2001

The left side main beam head light was not working , I went to halfords and got a replacement bulb changed it and it still does not work
Please help
PS I checked the fuses aaccording to the hand book they are ok

Check if you are getting power to bulb .

Check the power like the above post mentions, possibly has a bad connection so check inside the clips to the headlights or any other leads or wires. I had similar problem with my clio it ended up to be a bit of rust and some green substance stopping the power flow, just clean it off with a wire brush or scrape it off with a screwdriver pal.
