Model Year: 1997

hi just bought a cheap corsa and have discovered that the driver window does not open more than about 15mm when winding it down there is a lot of pressure as tho the window fighting against you and as if it gonna break the winderer is very stiff as i say and was wondering if there was any easy way of taking some of the tension off i am as mechanically minded as a goldfish so any help would be great thanks

take off door card inside of door,( means removing winder etc,) once all out of way put winder back on and wind up and down slowly observe mechanism in action, is door bent, is it pushing on glass,if so bend it clear of glass if mechanism stiff spray it with wd40 see if that helps check to see if glass is seated in guides ,try adjusting if not by undoing clamps which hold glass on lower edges and re-alligning
