Vauxhall Combo poor starting when warm

Car: Vauxhall Combo
Variant: 1.3 CDTI
Model Year: 2015
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
It starts well cold but is very hard to start when warm. We had a cam sensor fault. We tried a new sensor, but the same fault remained. We stripped down and fitted a new chain kit. We still have a starting issue. We have had the injectors checked, and they are all okay. when running on idle blue smoke

Blue smoke is usually a sign of burning oil . Possibly caused by engine wear on pistons . valve stem oil seals , valve stem guides , to name a few .
