A few Months ago after driving the Combo for circa 80 Miles - five minutes later I got back in the Van - it would turn over but would not start as it was not getting fuel. I had to get the Van towed and it turned out it needed a Fuel Pump relay.
Tonight I drove the Van circa 10 Miles - 10 minutes later I got back in the Van and it turned over and over but no start. I suspect the Fuel Pump relay is in trouble again.
Why would this be - circa 1000 miles done since the Relay was replaced recently.

Update Dec 4 2024
Following the issue in September there was no fault found but the Garage suspected there may be an issue with current to the Fuel Pump. They wired the Fuel Pump directly from the Fuse Box. The Van has started and driven fine since until last Saturday. I did circa 50 Miles in the van out and back - an hour later sat into the Van and again it would not start - turning over and over but no kick. From September to Saturday the Van has only done 320 Miles. Any suggestions as I need a permanent fix for this.

Thank you - was connecting the Fuel Pump directly to the Fuse Box a good response?

Not in favour of bypassing , altering circuits , cutting out relays etc. , they are there for a reason or wouldn't be fitted . Is there no other local garage that could carry out a diagnostic scan for fault codes ?

The issue was found to be a bad power connection on the Fuel Pump. Resolved and the Van is starting fine since. Hopefully this is the end of the issue.
