Vauxhall Combo automatic gearbox selector fault.

Display shows "move selector into Park", nothing happens when selector moved to reverse or drive other than the screen shows in reverse setting the reverse camera view.

Could be a fault with the micro switch in the shifter mechanism or the metal lever on the micro switch may be bent and not operating the switch .

Thank you for your reply, I shall try that if I have any more problems. Could be a fault with the micro switch in the shifter mechanism or the metal lever on the micro switch may be bent and not operating the switch .
For now it seems to be working properly again.
