Vauxhall Combo cannot unlock drivers door with key

I am unable to unlock the drivers door with the manual key.
Back and side doors are ok

Probably gummed up with lack of use . try squirting WD40 or similar into key hole and work back and forth . May have to repeat a few times

It’s a company van that’s used daily

If working ok before you will need to pull the door trim and check linkage / lock assembly . Can you not lock with remote ?

I’m thinking there must be a solenoid not working. The remote will cost £300 to renew and I don’t want to spend that much so the manual key is being used

There is an actuator / solenoid on lock assembly . You still need to strip door trim to check if getting power assuming key is turning fully
