The gear lever does not freely go to the middle when rocked left to right while in neutral . It is becoming more difficult to select the 3rd gear when driving. No nasty noises and comes out of gear easily .
Finding 1st and 2nd no problem 3rd to 4th no problem
2nd to 3rd can be more diificult . Seems to better when cold

Check gear selector , gear shift cables and linkage on top of gearbox , often using WD40 and working it in helps

I’ve tried working the linkage on my combo is there a way of stripping it and cleaning and oiling it ? Also my clutch biting point is really low and I’ve changed the slave and master cylinder any ideas appreciated cheers Ethan

Clutch biting point being low if hydraulic side o.k , not needing bled again , is USUALLY caused by worn clutch pressure plate / diaphragm

E bay sell linkage kits , just an example ( if not cables )
I’ve changed the cables recently made a slight improvement but I can’t find a linkage for my van it’s a 2014 and the linkage looks different to the ones I can find , they all seem like the previous model.
