I used to work on these vehicles at a main dealer, the main thing is corrosion on the rear wheel arches and the floor pan near the front jacking points, I would if i were you go for the latest model you can find that still has the red top, not the 2.0 xev engine as it had less power, the older engine was fun, very grunty, or you could try finding aturbo model, they did'nt cause as much bother as one of the posters suggested
