Can you expand on the problem?
if the weather is dry it runs ok? if wet it has the problem but restarts after how long? does the problem come back once driving in the wet again? (same episode not a different day)

the car when its raining, starts ok and runs for a short time half hr or so.Then it starts to judder and cuts out,and wont start. after waiting 10 mins or so it runs but very uneven, when you touch pedal slightly it will run but if you try to put your foot down it splutters?

Try the rotor arm first, water could be coming in, (there is also a sensor mounted in there that can fail)also the coil could be shorting due to wet, your problem sounds like a fairly simple / cheap fix but may take some time to track down the faulty component, dry everything out and check no obvious water ingress.
