Vauxhall Astra needs a new steering rack and engine membrane.

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.6 club twinport
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
i took my car back from the vauxhall dealership and was told that it needed a new steering rack and engine membrane. they quoted a total of £700 for the job to be done by them. so im asking if there are any mechanics that know they could do the job and would want to take the car of my hands for me. the car value is at £3550, so im willing to sell if for between £1200-£1500. and the job you would do yourself minus the parts would make you a easy profit when selling the car. if your interested, just contact me on 07859145642 or email address [email protected]
the reason being that its to expensive for me to pay to get done, having already paid for a new gasket and catalyst converter to be replaced. its now become to much money.

If you take it to one of the power steering specialist which you can usually find in Yellow pages or local free car magazine you get in petrol stations etc. you should get it replaced at a fraction of main dealer price .
