Vauxhall Astra battery drain

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Called out RAC as car failed to start and mechanic told me the battery was draining at 0.96amps. Took the car to supplier who told me he would charge the battery and problem solved. RAC told me drain should be no more than 0.5amps. Garage tells me that 1amp drain is acceptable. Your opinion please.

if you have more than 0.05 volts drain then your battery wont last very long ie if you go on holiday for say a week then come home the battery on the car will be flat and will require recharging again so you need to find out what is the drain ie alarm immobilisor that sort of thing interior light left on
