Vauxhall Astra loss of power after water pump change!?

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.7 cdti sxi
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
took my astra back to garage due to a coolant leak... after a long winded "theres nothing wrong with it mate from dealer" and me telling them they can keep car and shove it where the sun don't shine... they eventually admitted there was a coolant leak from water pump which they replaced for free... however on the way home i noticed there was no power til i hit 3000revs its as though the turbo doesn't kick in til 3000revs.. then the yellow car with spaneer light came up on dash and it went into limp mode.... any ideas? could it be the erg valve? but then whats that got to do with changing water pump? HELP PLZ

nothing electrical needs to be disturbed when replacing water pump on that engine, take it back to garage where previous work done, you need to put tech 2 on it to read fault codes and carry out diagnostic
