Vauxhall Astra starting

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.8 petrol
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
As described for the 2005
But I do not think it is the battery at fault. The car is not running rough and the battery is well charged. The starter motor just clicks and seem s to start on random tries. Sometimes with long gaps making it quiet worrying if I stop somewhere. Thank you

First thing to do is check battery voltage or get tested in case any weak cells . You could have a bad bit on the starter motor , bad connection / wiring at starter , bad battery terminals or a sticking starter relay which you can see in this link

I would start with checking the leads for good contract at the starter motor.

To be fair when I looked there was no answer. We posted at a similar time. I was only trying to help.

I remember you from a year ago and you were not very helpful then either with your replies . If you check " We posted at a similar " , rubbish , there was at least 8 mins between my post
