Vauxhall Astra steering wheel column
Variant: Astra Ecotec
Model Year: 2018
Booked in to main dealer for an MOT and was told of play on the steering column. £500 to get through MOT on an Astra 2018 plate with 26,000 miles on the clock. No help from Vauxhall Customers Services whatsoever and totally ignored. Absolutely frustrated I don’t recommend Vauxhall Astra to anyone. Stay away from this company if you don’t want to waste your money please.

Thank you for your reply. Is there any known solution to this fault from Vauxhall. I keep emailing the customer service and they just ignore me. Vauxhall really deserves a report for this faulty part of Vauxhall Astras.

The solution seems to be to replace the steering column at owners expense and no help from Vauxhall to cost of repair
