Vauxhall Astra electrical problem

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.7cdti ecotec
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Engine & DrivetrainElectrics, ECU, Warnings & LightsRunning Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My van randomly cuts out while driving the engine management light comes on and goes off randomly , the other day all the clocks started flicking like mad and most warning lights come on but turn off ten minutes later kicks back in again and now and again the engine won’t start but ten minutes later it will kick in ?
Any help would be appreciated

Check both battery terminals and earth wire usually from engine / gearbox to body . Also test your battery and check voltage . If not that , scan for any stored fault codes to see what is triggering the engine light
