Vauxhall Astra astra twintop: boot cable and actuator completely disconnected. is there any way to get the boot to open?

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.8 TWINTOP
Model Year: 2017
I tried to open boot by going through the flap between the rear seats, using a pole with a hook and pulled the cable that attaches to the actuator, this worked previously and i was able to open the boot.
I had the same problem again yesterday, repeated the same method but the cable has now dislodged from the catch and the actuator has now come off the loom. The plate, cable and actuator fell into the boot area. Any ideas of how to get into the boot?

Now you have broken the emergency release the only way I think you MAY possibly be able is by plugging into Tech2, Vauxcom or OpCom to interrogate the roof control module and actuate boot release motor / lock if working o.k
