Vauxhall Astra trouble changing to 1st and 2nd gear

First thing to do would be check clutch fluid level and top up if needed . If low you will have to check for leak and bleed system if required .

I bought Dot 4 for it and topped up the fluid, not much required for a top up either. Hasnt happened since. No way to see into the tank as its too cloudy. Ive been keeping my eye underneath the car where the gearbox meets the engine for moisture.

I've had the DMF replaced within the past month or two. So someone suggested there may be air in the line. Hopefully they have done a good job. I did hear that they struggled to replace it. Had to saw off a bolt as well i think.
