car goes into limp mode after 40mph this has happened twice garage say it is turbo but car only done 36.000 miles, any ideas

Get car scanned with suitable diagnostic programme like Tech 2/3 and see what fault codes are stored .Saves guessing and possibly fitting unnecessary parts and incurring labour costs also .
