Vauxhall Astra astra overheating?

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Model Year: 1995
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
recently bought an astra. soon discovered it has an overheating problem esp. when stopped in traffic or at lights. when i parked up i checked the expansion bottle expecting anti freeze to be bubbling, to my surprise there was no bubbling, in fact after removing the cap i discovered the water to be just about luke warm, radiator warm but not hot. any ideas on what problem could be. any help appreciated. cheers mike
