Vauxhall Astra misfiring in low gear, accelerating.

Had car serviced recently and since then the car misfires when in low gear accelerating away from corners etc. No dashboard lights or faults indicated apart from stability tràck warning that came on once but has not reappeared.

I think I'd be checking the spark plugs,
I.e are they new and correctly gapped?
