Vauxhall Astra juddering + slow running

Car was slow running for a while causing it to stall whilst idle. Adjusted the running speed just enough to allow it to tick-over nicely but soon after the whole car has now started juddering at lower speeds and randomly dropping power causing me to change down in gear. This persists until the car has been on for quite some time and the engine is quite warm.

I would check plugs and leads first off .
