Vauxhall Astra struggles to start

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.9 Diesel
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
From cold i can start the car first time ,every time, and if i then drive say 300 yards and try to start the car for a second time it struggles to start, it takes 2 or 3 ignition starts to get it going.
Engine is turning over battery is never dying on doing this. But it will always start.

Had different things suggested fly wheele on its way out but when i had some one examine it for fly wheele problems there was no vibration in the peddles and it was running smoothly.
The next suggestion was the crank sensor is faulty.
Can anyone suggest ideas of where the problem may lie.
A huge thanks in advance Mike

I'd say this is a fuel starvation fault.
and if I was pushed the first thing to check AFTER it has been started then stopped is to open up the fuel filter and see if there is any fuel in there!
