Vauxhall Astra starting fault

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My 2005 1.6 16v astra will turn over but won't start. Had it in to garage and had egr fault code so egr has been replaced. Collected from garage yesterday, used today with no problems, have gone to go out and it again won't start! Turns over but won't fire! Any suggestions welcome!!

Better to take back to garage that carried out the repairs ?

Check that the battery is actually charged and is a healthy battery as constant starts can kill the battery. Check that when engine running the alternator is actually charging the battery. Depending on the screen you have you can check by following the bellow video and look for the word sens: bellow you should have a V which is the voltage, your voltage should be above about 14v if charging.

Also the egr could have been an old fault code stored. The egr wouldnt really stop it from starting.
