Vauxhall Astra broke this morning

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.7 CDTI Estate
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I have a 10 plate Astra Estate, regularly serviced and just passed its MOT last month. Started it up after finishing a nightshift this morning, put wipers on to clear windscreen and they were moving really slow. Started driving home and the ABS light was flashing on and off then the engine light came on. Turning into my road the power steering totally went and the steering went really heavy. I went indoors to tell the missus she needed to get the bus to work then went out to try and start it again. Nothing at only, wont turn over, only a click sound.

Before I get it towed to a garage I was wondering what I can check myself in case its an easy fix.

Our lass was convinced I left the lights on all night but I hadn't.
