Get it checked for any fault codes first of all,is it misfiring or petering out,more information req.

What engine ? petrol or diesel ? what mileage would help to give you an answer .

hi pressbond here the mileage is 23000mls no it doesn't splutter just loses power no matter what gear i'm in when I change down picks up right away

If it,s a diesel try changing the fuel filter.
