Vauxhall Astra tapping noise in engine

So many possible causes , really hard to say without hearing it .If not too heavy a knock /tapping you could try changing oil and filter , especially if not been done for a while .MIGHT work , depends on how bad and how long it's being doing it .Bit of a longshot though .

Hi aswell as tapping, today: car lost acceleration : black smoke coming out and total loss of oil any suggestions plz
