Vauxhall Astra noise in the clutch pedal

when i press my clutch pedal in it starts to make a loud noise like a roaring noise but when i push the pedal to the floor it goes could it be the clutch on the way out or something else.

The pedal makes a noise? Or do you mean there is a noise when you press the clutch

If there is a noise as you press the clutch and stops when you press harder I would say the clutch pressure plate is worn badly. The release bearing may be eating into it.
Its defiantly clutch related anyway

it could also be a problem with the flywheel if its a dual mass one
