Vauxhall Astra front wheel squeak

hi, today on way home from work, my car developed a squeak sounds abit like a metallic grinding, it get a bit louder when i turn left so im guessing the front right is the problem. sounds like a bearing but the bearing aint even a year old yet. any ideas wot to look for b4 i look at the bearing?? the speed of the sound increases wiv speed and visa versa and starts at low speed but at higher speeds is quiet.

If not the bearing , check the pads .

You are right in your diagnosis that turning left put,s a load on the right hand bearing and if you can see no other problem such as backplate touching or stone trapped then as suggested probably a bearing.
