Vauxhall Astra whining noise plus smoke from exhaust intermittently

in the last few days i have had a whining noise coming from what i thought was the oil pump as i get occasional smoke coming from my exhaust, this only happens when its been idling and as i start to accelerate, its not there when its idling. these problems only happens once its warm. any ideas or advice would be great.

Sounds like valve stem oil seals gone causing smoke problems .Checked engine oil level?

needs anew rocker cover the breather inside has failed unservicable need to replace £172 from vauxhall including gasket
