Vauxhall Astra rattling bones!

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.6 8valve
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Leaks & Noises
My car has started having a rattling noise under the bonnet (scary place) when I start it up. It goes quickly but I don't like the sound of it.
Any ideas what it could be?
I have an independent warranty on the car and hope that whatever it is would be covered.
Many thanks for any ideas.

sounds like hydralic tappets noisy does it go after a short time.if only when cold have an oil and filter change and make sure the oil is drained when VERY hot,and left draining for at least half an hour then fill with good quality oil ,should be ok then.
