Vauxhall Astra footwell flooded

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: van 1.9
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I have had my van for a few months now. After alot of rain fall the footwell gets flooded, both drivers side and passengers side. I noticed one day when it was raining heavily that near that hand hold on the drivers side, the material around it was damp. This dosen't seem to have happened again but the footwells are underwater!! Any ideas on where to look for the leak please?

Check your drains are clear at the front ,and it maybe some ones been in at the dr panels at some point and torn your water proof lining ,just a case of replacing it with plastic.

Thanks for the reply. Are the drains easy to get to? Do you think its worth replacing the door rubber seals as a matter of course?

As suggested check bulkhead / scuttle drains .If fitted on van check water not coming in through pollen filter .
