Vauxhall Astra slows down in 1st and 2nd gear , stalls and no revs above 3000

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Variant: 1.6sxi
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
my car has been in the garage for over a week now, after numerous parts replace, the car slows down in 1st and 2nd gears, stalls. Ive just paid for a new fuel pump to find out, the problem is still there (have to pay for new pump, as it is now used and no-refund) . Got a new battery, air valve and couple of other parts. has anyone else experienced this fault, at this rate the bill will be more than what the cars value is. regards shirl

my sprinter used to do that try changing fuel filter. if it has run low it may have picked up some crap from bottom of tank.

Thank god for that, the fault has been found it was the crankshaft sensor.10 days it took my garage to diagnose the fault.
