Vauxhall Astra car loses power in 1st and 2nd gear then stalls

Hi all, would anyone know why my astra has just started suddenly losing power then stalls in 1st and 2nd gear. The rev counter also does not go beyond 3 revs. It was fully serviced just 3 months ago.
