Had new steering rack fiter since then traction control lights have been burning steady

Take it back to whoever fitted rack for rectifying fault they caused FOC.

Did this they said not there fault so want to repair my self if anybody has had same problem

Check ABS sensors and wiring / connections .

Just get the system read for code faults stored,
just like you would do if the engine management light was on.
This will tell you why the light is on and possible repair strategy.
And until you have a stored fault code it doesn't matter who did what.
Though whoever is or isn't at fault it needs code read!
