Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Sometimes it starts first time, but, on occasions, when I turn the key in the ignition, nothing happens. I can here the rotor arm spinning but doesn't fire at all. It starts straight away with a little push. Could it be the starter motor?

Could be the start motor gear not being thrown out or even engaging. If the start motor can be heard spinning accompanied by a grating noise - the flywheel ring gear may have worn teeth.
