My ABS warning light has come on in my Subaru impreza.
My brakes seem to be working fine so can any one tell me why this light would come on for?

Funnily enough its to tell you that there is a problem with your ABS system, could be a dodgy ABS sensor (they are normally located in or near the brake caliper) Have you cleaned your wheels lately with a jet wash? If so sometimes the fast flow of water can dislodge or knock off an ABS sensor. Obviously no warning light is a good thing so you need to get it checked, your brakes should work fine but if needed your ABS might not so get it checked ASAP. Let me know.....

It will have to go for diagnostic check to see which sensor is at fault.
