Gear is not shifting Automatically. Maximum speed 40 mph. Look like it is driving on one fixed gear.It is not responding for manual gear shift. Reverse gear is working but not with the full power.It is slowly moving back. The car has done only 16000 miles

First thing to do would be get the transmission fluid checked , replaced ( with any filter if fitted also )
