Ssangyong Rexton ssangyong steering hardturning full left or right

I have been out driving and suddenly i am having issues turning tighter left and right hand corners, also therefore with 3 point turns, it feels juddery and tight when you get to a point on each side. Any ideas would be appreciated and best place for parts as it is always a struggle with Ssangyong parts, can range from 1 month to 4 months

Check power steering pump oil level , check steering column intermediate shaft / universal joint for wear , seizing up .

I too have a Rexton. It’s not fluid, it only happens when the 4 wheel drive system is turned on. Full lock in reverse, it ain’t going nowhere, and it’s become dangerous driving into corners with it turned on. 2 wheel drive, beautiful. Any ideas anyone.
