hi i have a ssangyong musso mpv it has a clutch related fault ? the clutch system is hydraulic the pedal has gone to the floor it happened at traffic lights so had to switch engine off & start up in 2nd gear to get goin upon inspection at a place off safety there was no loss off fluid from the clutch master cylinder ? no ovious puddles or anythink broken loose etc under neath the car ? there was no signs off clutch slipping no strange noises burning smells etc ? so any clues or ideas wot it could be it will start up in gear so im assuming the clutch still works just not able to engage via the clutch pedal ? thanks mona .

Sounds like a faulty master cyl .You could try and bleed clutch hydraulic system .

hi would that cause no loss off fluid at all as the resevoir is full & not empty at all no leaks in the car ie were the clutch pedal gos into the master cylinder clutch cylinder ? its got a slight pedal but not enough to engage gears with its has a immobiliser system fitted were by you have to fully depress the clutch pedal whilst starting engine ? thanks

If air in system , soft pedal , excessive play and not full travel .Try bleeding .
