had my head unit replaced - took 8 months to get its sorted after first reporting fault, worked fine for two days and now exactly the same thing happening again so not at all convinced that they have a handle on things

Latest reply from ssangyong is that they will try and get a fix but have no time line at all. They have just released the facelift model funnily enough with a new stereo unit!!
In addition the side rails are not loose and corroding badly on the brakes and the aluminium is delaminating from the laquer. These are the same as the new ones!
No response from the motor ombudsman yet but case is progressing!

I have same problem. They have replaced head unit 3 times and done numerous updates.
No fix. In the hands of Dept of Fair Trading.

Hi All, software update done - problem still present but one of the error screens has been removed so it just quetly goes off and comes back on when it chooses. They have a new radio on order to fit but i doubt this will fix the issue. Its the same all over. BUT please check the laquer on your wheels, just had the 2 front wheels replaced as the lacquer was coming off. the warranty has you coverred to 37500 miles so get in before you go over that or they will reject.
