Ssangyong Korando loss of power towards the end of a long, (6 hour) motorway run . no warning lights came on at any point.

Car: Ssangyong Korando
Variant: 2.2D
Model Year: 2016
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Loss of power as above. This was significant and towards the end of the journey, the car would only travel up a steep hill in 4th gear at 50 mph which I've previously done at 75 mph in sixth. There was just 'nothing there' when I put my foot down, whereas normally the torque is significant. I'm wondering if the engine had just become 'too hot' to function properly but as mentioned, no lights came on.
