Since purchasing the car in 2014 it seemed to always have transmission issues with constant jerky ness in traffic.
Since early last year while the car is in drive it will engage and disengage in a couple seconds. So you would have to turn the car on and off to reset the ecu to be able to move it. I have been looking for the parts or another transmission to replace it with and haven’t had any luck. Any feedback will be very helpful. Thanks.

Dont know what parts you need but would have thought best to scan for transmission , electrical fault codes if that's where you suspect the problems lie . Assume you have tried changing the ATF

I have the exact same problem with my 2012 2.0 korando. I’ve noticed though that in winter or colder months car experiences less lagging when on drive mode. Have you found the solution?

I have been a bit busy so had to put it on the back burner, but trying to accumulate ideas and possible fixes to try. I was thinking to reset the tcm (transmission control module) because maybe it needs to be replaced or may have been damaged from the factory and been an intermittent problem.

" may have been damaged from the factory " doubt it VERY much
