Ssangyong Actyon Sports limp mode also smoking when accelarting

I have taken vehicle to Ssangyong specialist with no luck. Read elsewhere with similar issues that it is an electrical issue signalling from ECU to EGR or something. Looking for someone that has had a similar problem with correct diagnosis

Most common cause is EGR valve / intake build up of carbon .

Mechanic has gone through all possible causes including EGR. He claims looks like over fueling and vehicle still with them for 2 weeks now. They claim no longer goes into limp mode but smoking and he is worried that it will go or start going into limp mode again

Over fueling is another cause of black smoke and can be caused by worn / faulty injectors allowing excess fuel to flow into the combustion chamber.

I`m giving up now since this car only has 80 000 km on the clock. Injectors he has just had them checked and they Ok. I suspect EGR must be changed. I will let him change that and see what happens after that.

Maybe get back and update the forum with the results of changing the EGR valve if it cures the fault ?
