Skoda Yeti heating/cooling

Car: Skoda Yeti
Variant: OutdoorTSI 1.3lt petrol
Model Year: 2014
The fan is working fine.coolant is topped up. Air is coming through, but only what the fan is moving. On heat barely warm, on cooling not really cold. Feels as though maybe a valve is stuck partly open?.

Feel the two hoses that pass through from engine at bulkhead into heater matrix which should be hot at engine working temp . If not really hot , may be the thermostat stuck open which means engine runs cooler affecting the heat . No idea if that vehicle has a coolant control valve or flap system for heater .
