I had a after market Reverse camera fitted 6 months ago, now my brake warning light flickers on dash, I had brakes replaced and my mechanic says it could be electrical.
Also the rear Number plate light which houses the Camera is Led.
But the other light is very dim.

You need to check where the camera gets it's feed from , whether it was tapped into reverse light wiring . Sounds like you have an earthing / ground / wiring fault
