On some cars if the battery gets low , it cuts off unnecessary items like infotainment unit . It often happens if car not been used much or short stop / stsrt journeys . You could try charging the battery first before spending £108 possibly to be told the same thing .With regard to going over bumps , double check plugs / connections to radio and double check radio fuse is secure in fuse box
