Skoda Octavia asb indicator light

Car: Skoda Octavia
Variant: 1.9 tdi
Model Year: 2001
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
my 2001 Octavia has in the last few days developed an intermittent fault on the ABS light... it comes on while driving and then goes off again. Has happened several several times over the last week. I know about the problems with more recent Octavias, but could this be the same sort of problem, or is it likely to be a faulty electrical connection somewhere?

check the connections on the abs sensors are good and secure, also check that the sensors and the pick ups are not damaged,if this all seems ok you will need to get the fault code memory read and tested

many thanks 2145 simon; sounds very sensible. Are the ABS sensors on the hub assemblies behind the wheels? and whereabouts is the Teves (I think that is the name) sensing device situated?
