Skoda Octavia stuck fuel filler flap

Car: Skoda Octavia
Variant: diesel
Model Year: 2007
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Went to get fuel but the flap appeared stuck - tried opening and closing the doors as the flap niormally opens with the central locking - but to no avail. Went to the local Skoda agents but no clue there other than booking in and an expensive bill, and funds and fuel both short at pres! Any ideas - could it just be a fuse or similar ? Feel like forcing it open as i need to use the car, please help !
