Skoda Octavia warning lights and ignition

Car: Skoda Octavia
Variant: 1.9tdi
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My car has started to cause problems. Last week it started as normal but when I turned it off the engine kept running when I took keys out also the abs, hand brake, and traction control lights stayed lit up again with no keys in ignition. This happened a couple of times. Then after leaving it for a while it started, stopped normally with no warning lights. The following day the same problem occurred with the warning lights but it turned off ok. Again after leaving it everything returned to normal.
Any thoughts on what problem might be? I'm thinking it's the ignition barrel
